The baby tears make a good ground
cover in this garden on
the north side of the house. Other than keeping it well watered,
it requires very little attention.
Here is a closer view of the dense
cover formed by baby
tears with its tiny leaves.
I can almost always find the fruiting
bodies of the ashy
physarum slime mold somewhere among the baby tears, but it does not
cause any damage to the plants.
