This
fuchsia bush, which has been in my yard for 35 years or so, was cloned
from a cutting of a bush which grown in my father's yard for about 20
years, which had been cloned from a cutting of a bush in his father's
yard, which was very old, but of indeterminate age. There are
numerous cultivars (cultivated varieties) of fuchsias, I have no idea
of a name for this one.
Here,
near the end of a long, drooping branch are buds and flowers in various
stages of maturity. Notice that when the flower first opens it is
bluish purple, then turns more red.
