These course "large" leaves are a
blemish on a well
manicured lawn. The Indian goosegrass is also known as
wiregrass. If you step barefoot on the stiff stub of a stem cut
by a lawn mower, you will understand why.
These are the flowers of the Indian
goosegrass. The
stiff, wiry stems may be a foot or more tall.
