The
common lambsquarters is certainly a very common weed in my yard.
I try to prevent it from getting much larger than this.
If allowed, lambsquarters grow to five
feet or more in height, and become quite bushy.
The flowers of the lambsquarters are
green, with no petals, you have to look really close to tell if they
are open or not. Also note the
characteristic dark red areas on the stems, especially in the axils of
the leaves.
