The loquats frequently come up as weeds in my
yard because the neighbors tree hangs over the wall and drops its fruit
in my garden. Some
travel farther, perhaps by birds or mammals which eat the loquats.
There are four, relatively large seeds in each
loquat. They often all sprout while they are still lumped
together.
