The wild radish is a quite common weed
in vacant lots, and occasionally shows up in my garden. There, of
course, it definitely a weed. Notice the four petaled flower,
which is characteristic of the mustard family.
The wild radish has both white and
purple flowered varieties, which are often mixed in the same field.
The wild radish frequently covers
large fields, or out of town, whole hillsides.
These are the fruit of the wild radish.
